Cliffs generally provide us a wide angled views. One can clearly see, what is happening on the other side if the fence while sitting in the cliff. However, sitting at the edge of the cliff is dangerous. Don't try it just to get a view.
Coming to social media, until we hear comments or complaints or compliments from customers, we generally feel everything is OK. Once we start listening to comments, then we come to know how bad our service or product is. Cliff view in social media means checking people's comments or complaints given about an other similar product or service. This raincheck helps us to update and make our product market friendly.
